I've been knitting, but it seems like there's not much to show for it these days. I abandoned the second Artichoke Sock at the moment for other creative inspiration that's been popping up too frequently for me to ignore. My brain thinks faster than I can knit, and I've definitely ripped out more than I've finished...here are just a few bits that are in the works...
The Friday Harbor socks...I'm determined to knit these, but socks on size 3 or 4 needles makes me squeemish. I tried casting on the suggested 50 sts. of the pattern on size 2s, but the cuff is too tight (it's the pinkish sock pictured in the front). So I went up to size 3s and cast on the 50 sts. with the used-to-be-Claptois superwash (the blue guy in the rear). This one seems a tad loose, and I don't like the loftiness of the fabric. I think my solution is going to have to be going back to the 2s and trying 60sts. And the red? That's a secret.
And for a bit of housekeeping...my archives seem to have blown up. Again. I'm going to have to enlist Husband's help this weekend to fix it. Plus I've finished some stuff that needs to be added to the gallery. Soon...
