This week, I dyed my very first ever skein of yarn with kool-aid. More than a few people I know who I've mentioned this to have raised their eyebrows, but it's inexpensive, and I'm pretty pleased with the results. I was going for a yellow, blue, and green colorway...the colors blended more than I would have liked and it's a little more pastel than I'd prefer, but overall, for a first attempt, I'm happy with it. I'm calling the color tinkerbell. Now, the next dilemma comes in deciding what kind of socks to make with this....
