So yesterday, the Bug out of the blue comes up and gives me a humongous hug. "I'm happy to be your Mama," I tell him. Without missing a beat, he replies, "I'm happy to be your kid." Gotta love that boy.

Even though life has had its fair share of trials lately (think pink eye, strep throat, ear infections, job craziness, that sort of thing), God has been so good to sprinkle blessings here and there throughout each day. Little things have always made me happy, and who doesn't like the occasional big thing as well? I'm happy about:

• taxes done
• my new orange bag
• the Bean's squeaks and giggles
• cute pedicure
• Husband surprising me with a concert I've wanted to see for a long time
• family time
• possibilities
• working out at the gym
