On the way home from school, the Bug and I like to talk about his morning and what he did. Today I asked what his favorite part of the day was, and to my surprise he said, "Writing." That's been something we've been trying to work on at home. He normally isn't interested in practicing for more than five minutes before he gets frustrated, so for him to say that was his favorite part of the day was unexpected. Then I found out why..."Mama, I wrote my name!"

Meanwhile, I think the Bean is happy to have some nap time in the morning when the Bug isn't constantly invading her personal space for a kiss or a hug.
