Sometimes life doesn't turn out the way you'd like. Or the way you'd expect. People, circumstances, relationships, can all disappoint, especially if what you're expecting isn't what they're prepared to deliver. I'm done setting myself up for disappointment. I've found that if you release the expectations, instead of being disappointed you'll often be pleasantly surprised.
