New attitude
|
The Bug is turning three in exactly one week, but it was about a month or so ago that I noticed changes in him. Things like his speech and the way he's expressing himself. He's really picking up a lot more words, concepts...and attitude. Take last night for instance. The kid can easily get up and down the stairs by himself, that's not a problem, but I'm trying to get him to grasp the concept that he needs to tell someone where he's going first, that we need to know where he is. While I was fiddling with supper, I think he thought I wasn't looking and decided to make a break for it. He got up to about the third stair when I stopped him: "What do you think you're doing?" And his response that made me want to laugh and scold him at the same time: "I'm trying to go upstairs!" Not even yet three and I'm already cramping his style.
