Heard a saying today that got the wheels turning: The pain of discipline is better than the pain of regret. So true. I guess that's along the lines of the whole ounce of prevention, pound of cure thing, but when it was put in the context of discipline, something my nature innately wants to resist, it made a much more emphatic impression on me.
