This site is an anomaly to me at times...there are those of you I know in person that visit the site. There are those of you whom I know from internet land that visit, and then there are those of you whom I may have never met, never heard from, never communicated with, other than through the words you see each day here on your screen. This virtual world is really good at creating connections and creating a disconnect all at the same time. A paradox. I always like to know a little something about the people who run the sites I visit, even if I've never met them in person. So to return the favor to my dear readers, here's a random sampling about me:

• I've ridden in a hot air balloon
• Mashed potatoes are my favorite food
• I didn't see the ocean for the first time until I was 17
• I've never been to another country
