We all get it...feeling like we need a vacation, but not having the time, money, whatever to actually get away. That's how I've been lately, so I've been trying to think of things to do that make the everyday seem more festive. Drinking my pop out of a goblet. Popping the blanket in the dryer to toast it up before I crawl onto the couch to knit. Little things that will tide me over. And really, if you think about it, there's no reason to save special things for a special occasion. They'll still be just as special every day, only you'll get to enjoy them more often.
