Today is supposedly the first official day of spring. It never seems to come at a logical time, no matter where you live, I guess. Living in the north, it always seemed like the official start date was too early. I remember trying to wear sundresses and shorts around this time, only to have to go inside and put on pants because of the still-chilly air. Now that I live in the south, it seems as though it's been spring for weeks. The trees have bloomed and most have already dropped their petals and are wearing their new leafy green coats.
